As part of a distinguished initiative aimed at promoting the use of clean energy and offering creative economic solutions for consumers, Phoenix EV—a member company of Phoenix Group, which is affiliated with the INDEVCO Industrial Group and the authorized distributor of leading global electric vehicle brands in Lebanon—has launched the Riddara Truck, manufactured by Geely Holding Group, in the local market.
The launch event took place at the Phoenix EV showroom in Jounieh, in the presence of political and economic figures, several MPs from the region, a number of business leaders and executives from major institutions, along with representatives from various media outlets and an audience of enthusiasts.
In his speech for the occasion, MP Neemat Frem, President and CEO of INDEVCO Group and Chairman of Phoenix Group, spoke about the importance of finding solutions in times of crisis. After congratulating the Phoenix family on their new partnership, he said:
“The Phoenix team challenged the grim reality during the COVID-19 period by innovating ventilators in Lebanon, and was a pioneer in generating photovoltaic energy ten years ago. The group also participated in building the world’s largest solar power plant in Luxor, Egypt. Today, it applies its expertise to keep pace with the revolution in the electric vehicle sector, taking the initiative to import this type of vehicle into the Lebanese market. Riddara is proof of Phoenix’s leadership; it is a luxurious, fully-equipped vehicle that can also serve as a power station capable of lighting up an entire home.”
Frem added:
“All the changes we are witnessing these days should be a motivation and an opportunity to innovate, create smart solutions, and challenge reality.”
Phoenix Group Vice President Rabih El Sateh emphasized the group’s continuous efforts to drive innovation in renewable and alternative energy sectors, to keep pace with the ongoing revolution in transportation, and to meet the aspirations of the Lebanese market amid current challenges. This is achieved through strategic partnerships, the most prominent and recent being the fruitful collaboration with Geely Group, one of the world’s largest automotive manufacturers, renowned for its leadership in smart electric vehicles.
In his speech, he stated:

In a captivating presentation that combined lights, music, and contemporary dance, the curtain was lifted to unveil the Riddara to enthusiastic applause and warm reception from the audience. Phoenix EV’s General Manager Fadi El Chiti then gave a detailed presentation on the vehicle’s technological specifications and exceptional features, which combine high power, thrilling speed, luxury, supreme comfort, and efficiency.
The event was hosted by TV presenter and founder of the “Hannibal Race,” Amin Dib, who has been appointed as the selected ambassador to represent the Riddara brand in Lebanon. He presented the ceremony’s segments, oversaw its key moments, added an atmosphere of excitement, and shared his successful personal experience with the vehicle.
It is worth noting that the Riddara combines the comfort of an SUV with the strength and durability of a pickup truck, making it ideal for city driving, mountain roads, outdoor recreational activities, as well as practical daily use for long distances.
The vehicle is available in a wide range of colors and advanced features, including:
- Power output: 430 hp and torque: 600 Nm
- Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds
- Intelligent drivetrain system allowing switching between two-wheel and four-wheel drive in 0.4 seconds
- Independent multi-link rear suspension
- Spacious and quiet cabin comparable to Tesla Model Y
Among the incentives offered to consumers is a 5-year warranty on the vehicle and an 8-year warranty on the battery.
